October 7th, 2009The Bridge ministry of our LifeGroup (Clark) is teaching Chinese students from UTD to pronounce English. They are very eager to speak English well and constantly give us positive feedback. Our real motivation is telling them there is a God who loves them. Most of them have never heard there is a God. They are very receptive and many have begun a relationship with Jesus and have been baptized. When they go back to China, they will take the message with them. As a result, we are missionaries to China without being there. The main class is at Chase Oaks during the first service Sunday morning. This class has resulted in several smaller classes on campus with students that don’t come to church. Our LifeGroup is revitalized. When we meet together, we talk with excitement about what God is doing.
It is a blessing to be able to connect, teach, and share with the children the teachings of our Lord, and I truly love it. These children, our next generation, need to know about our God and Jesus Christ and what He means to me and to them. It is the most important message that we can give them. 
It’s a delight to share stories with my 4th and 5th graders. They’ve got open ears, minds and hearts. And they appreciate a little silliness and fun along the way. We are all part of a team, working with parents to give the children a solid foundation for life. Come on and join the fun!
